Sharing Our Success Story

When we received an enquiry to help an elderly resident with Alzheimer’s whose heating system wasn’t working, we knew we had to do our best to help our vulnerable customer. 

The customer was having to rely on portable electric heaters whilst living in her American style caravan on a traveller site in Hounslow, West London. Her hot water and warm air LPG heating system stopped working about 18 month prior, and with no money to install a replacement our customer was in great distress. 

Soon after receiving the application we were able to undertake a technical survey, provide a system design and quote for a new central heating system, fed by an LPG combination boiler. Once the grant was approved, within days we were able to install the heating system. Whilst we faced some challenges along the way with attaching the radiators and pipework to the caravan walls, our team worked hard to get the heating and hot water up and running as quickly as possible. 

All of the works were jointly funded by EDF Energy and the Mayor of London Warmer Homes grant scheme.
